WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT?

3 people in a team, 1 computer, 5 hours, about 12 programming or algorythmic tasks to solve. Choose from 3 languages: C, C ++ or Pascal. Everything on Windows or Linux. Pure competition. Win laptops, Kindle etc. Worth it.

The competition takes place stationary in the laboratories of the Poznań University of Technology and the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.

The competition lasts 2 days. The first day includes attractive lectures, workshops and trial session. Second – proper competition.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

The competition is open 🙂 This means that everyone can participate in the MWPZ. Every year we host talented high school students, students and employees of leading IT companies who compete for the title of Master of the Wielkopolska Region!

Important: If you are under the age of majority, you need the tutor’s permission to attend the Competition.

HOW MUCH IS IT?

Participation in MWPZ is completely FREE! In the package: snacks during two days, hot meal and banquet on the second day. Also transport from selected hotels to the venue and back. More info soon.

HOW TO REGISTER?

Need to fill out a registration form that will guide you step by step through the registration process. Registration is still inactive. The date of registration will be given shortly.

EVENT POSTPONED

We are obliged to inform you that the XII edition of the Poznan Open Team Programming Championship due to organizational reasons is postponed to a later date. We want the event to be held at the highest possible level, but unfortunately, in December it is not possible. We apologize to the MWPZ Family and all those who feel dsappointed, while ensuring that the Games will be held at a later date with the same energy and commitment that they have had since 2003. All information regarding the new date of the Championships will be published on mwpz.pl and on the fanpage of the competition on fb.

This is possible, however, because of the number of posts, we reserve the right to link incomplete teams or single individuals to three person teams.

Yes, it is obligatory 🙂 This is the day of the registration and trial session, which is necessary for the proper conduct of the Championship.

It is not allowed. Competition is held in the laboratories of the university on the computers installed there. For more details read rules.

The Formula does not provide such a possibility. Computers will be disconnected from the network during the Championships. Participants may use their own paper-based materials, such as books, program prints, notes. Use of electronic materials is not permitted. It is also forbidden to use any kind of electronic devices (apart from the computer provided by the organizers), in particular calculators, mobile computers, mobile phones, etc. More info here: terms and conditions

When registering, you will be offered accommodation options. Most of the proposed locations will be offered with the free transportation option to and from the venue. Organizers do not bear the cost of accommodation of the Participants.
